I have often said that my greatest athletic achievement was simply surviving 11 years in the National Hockey League (Philadelphia Flyers, Washington Capitals, Atlanta Flames). I was very fortunate to have played on two Stanley Cup Championship teams. My wife, Cissie and I are so blessed to have four children. Our daughter Christa has Multiple Sclerosis and has her own family. A true champion. Our daughter Regan has down syndrome and when we moved to Waynesville and discovered the Arc of Haywood County, we knew we were home. It is an honor for me to serve on the board of directors.
